Bri’s Dance Foundation

Mikayla, is our 1st graduating senior and received a $1,000 scholarship for her studies at Alabama State.

We established Bri’s Dance Foundation, as a 501c3, to continue to make dance accessible to all and build esteem in the lives of our dancers across NW Indiana and the Chicagoland area.

Since 2020, we have provided over $25,000 in scholarships and grants through community partnerships, to dance students, and Women Community Leaders in the Arts, Education, and Business.

The Cheryl Ursery Legacy Award honors Cheryl Ursery, late mother of Brianna (Ursery) Hairlson, who served for 20 years in the Merrillville Community School Corporation both at Fieler Elementary as a Recess Aide and Merrillville High School in Student Services.

We honor her compassion, dedication, and love for people through a grant/scholarship every year at our recital in July.
