Dress Code


 

all items needed for class are required to be purchased from the studio so we can properly size and match their skin tone.

If a dancer is not properly dressed he/she will be asked to sit out of class. We are not able to order your class uniform until payment is processed.


BALLET

Leotard and tights (color of leotard pending level, please see below), flesh toned tights and flesh toned ballet shoes (split sole), hair should be pulled back in a bun.

  • Tots N’ Tutus: Pink Leotard

  • Tutus N’ Taps: Lavender Leotard

  • Level 1: Blue Leotard

  • Level 2: Red Leotard

  • Level 3: Black Leotard

Bri’s Boys and Guys N’ Groove

White t shirt and grey sweatpants, clean tennis shoes, tap shoes, and jazz shoes

HIP HOP

Bri’s Dance Place t-shirt or Black t-shirt and black bottoms (sweats, leggings, shorts). Clean-soled gym shoes (worn only in the studio). Jeans should never be worn.

JAZZ/Acro & Tumbling

Black leotard and tights must be worn with jazz shoes. Level 3&4 can wear pirouette shoes. Hair should be up and away from the face. Acro is barefoot.

Modern

Black Leotard and Black tights, no shoes. Hair should be up and away from the face.

Tap

Any color leotard and tights with black tap shoes. Shorts may be worn over tights. Form fitting pants may be worn as well.

Why is following dress code important?

The dress code is designed for unity in each class. Not only is the dress code in place for the safety of your dancer, but to create a standard of excellence early in the dancer’s exposure to the classroom.
